yo all you tff peeps

Hi all just joined this site today but looked at in for a few days before joining. I allready have 10 gold fish. I am planning to have a tropical tank. there are only 3 places where I live that have fish. 1) dobbies rescued 2 caloco orandas from there one died but the other one is happy but can on;ly see out of one eye i think. 2) Pets @ Home they have a good set- up of tanks they get fish weekly from what i have seen. 3) Acorn pets a few fish but hardly any tanks but lots of products.


What i am wanting to know would a 53 litre tank be to small for a beginner. For stocking I was thinking

2x bronze cory
5x Harlequin rasbora
5x Neon Tetra

and maybe an eye catcher but not sure what. Please give me some advice and don't go to exotic with the fish there ain't a lot of types here in perth
