here are the facts:

got a 46G bow front tank
Loads of swimming area
sand substrate
good filtration
real plants
( lighting needs work )

fish list

3 - Angels 1 full size and two medium size ( I think they may be all males )
3 - white lace tetra's ( dreaded dyed fish, had these guys for 5 years no more dye)
1 - Bristlenose Pleco ( about mid size )
5 - Oto's
3 - Clown loaches ( 2 full size one little guy )

what I want to add

2 - white lace tetra's ( calm down the school )
2 - 4 Bamboo Shrimp ( large adults )

would adding those be a oveload in my tank...my water is A++ tested once a week, with daily 2 gallon water changes

all look healthy and happy as can be

let me know what you think...

:)

You are definitely overstocked mainly because of the clown loaches. That's 36" of fish alone. If you didn't have them, you would be fine to add more as you only have about 36 to 38 inches of other fish. The clown loaches should be in a 55 gallon tank minimum.

I agree with the previously stated observation the tank looks alright other wise. You might get some aggression with thoughs angel though.
My suggestion would be to upgrade the tank and give though clowns some room to do their thing or perhapes sell them off/give them to a friend with a larger tank.

I may have been off in the sizing of the clown's they are no longer than 3" but have been that big for over a year so I tend to call them full grown ( I know they can get bigger ) they will be moving to my 135 G once it gets setup..

I'll leave things as they are and wait and watch

thanks for the tips
