Yes, Another Id

It's been a while since I've been on the site. But some time ago, I happened to acquire a 30USG tank from a friend of mine in trade. It was obviously well overstocked w/several cichlids. Since getting it home and transferring them to a 55USG and they are all doing much, much better now. They are all fulll of life and have actually grown a bit more now. Here's the dilemma. I can id all but one, Big Boy. In the pic, he(she) is the big brown one in the middle.

The orange one is called a red zebra and the one on the right, I know what it is called but I dont remeber but it starts with elctric blue ,but I cant remeber the rest.

the one to the right isnt a blue hap.ita a pseudo species.i tought demasoni but i am wrong on exact name.its definetly a pseudo species though and i have no idea what that fish in the middle is.try searching some wide based cichlid sites.

The one on the right is a Melanochromis Johanni but the one that needs an id is the middle one and i'm stumped at the minute - leave it with me.

Yeah, thats the problem I've been having also. The other two in the pic are a red zebra and a johanni. Also in the tank is a demasoni, a kenyi, and one other unidentified which i don't have a pic of yet. The brown one in question, I've found some that are close, but no cigar. I'll still be looking on some databases to see what i can find. Thanks again for any other inputs.

No the black line(s) rule Joanjohnsonae out - i'm thinking a female Melanochromis Vermivorus.

So far some of the closest I've been able to find

Melanochromis dialeptos (f). Would I be correct in assuming? He(she) is about 4in. long and about 1.5 in w/ fins down.

Yep that's a definate possibilty - pretty sure its Melanochromis Dialeptos or Vermivorus and almost certainly a female.
