Whats the size of your tank bud?

Whats the current stock of your tank? Id say 6 to 8 consisting of 2 males and the rest females but obviously it depends on the numbers and species you already have :good:

No worries mate the names are quite hard to remember just comes with time. So you have roughly 20 fish? You planning on keeping just mbuna or mainly the haps/peacocks you already have?? I see you have few mbuna in with them to its not great to mix mbuna and haps/peacocks but a lot of people do doit. However going to give you a few pointers about some of your fish (not going to rant lol) The Nimbochromis venustus in the first pic are going to get big (8 to 10inch) so id think about cutting the numbers down or getting rid of them? I bet they are your favorites as well? Remember to they are predatory fish and when they get bigger smaller tank mates will be considered as food so id be pretty carefull with them. Do you have any pics of the other haps/peacocks you have? The fish in the 3rd n 4th pic are females just not sure on what species as im not great with identifying hap/peacocks. The labidochromis caeruleus (yellow lab) your wanting should be fine as your tank is a good size for mbuna so id still consider getting them but if i where you id see which you prefer first either mbuna or haps then go from there. Any questions dont hesitate to ask mate :good:

the peacocks are hiding at min one comes out hen goose back in with the rest so much rock for them to hide in :)

i don't mind how big the fish get !

cose when we get the new house I am ordering a 214cm x 76cm x 61cm tank with a SUMP this time :)

Ok no worries. Well that will be good for them they will certainly get a good size in a tank that big. So whats your plans the labidochromis caeruleus?? M to F ratio?

thats were i am stuck some say 1 male and rest female but hold my hands up dont know whats bst i was thinking 1/3 ratio ?

so as Neil says he will do me a deal on them as they are 2 £12 and i want about 8 of them :)

think i will go for 8 and the 2 i have all ready makes 10 sounds very good to me as i love them bright yellow and the black on the top thin set them right up there on my list :)
