Yellow Lab Problem

I have a pair of these lovely fish - both about 2 to 3 inches long.

Both seem a little nervous although I only got them yesterday - they both seem to have their fins slightly closed compared too the other smaller cichlids .

Should I be worried about their fins and nervousness or will they get better once they are settled in ???

New fish are usually quite nervous when you first add them to the aquarium, it is pefectly normal behaviour. After all the environment in your tank is much different to that in the shop.

It's perfectly normal for them to be nervous/stressed for the first few days, having plenty of hiding spaces will help.

Not sure if you have anymore labs in there as well, but they do feel more secure in groups of 5 or more.
