Hi all. i have recently just got 2 yellow labs. 1 male and 1 female. the male is about 2 and a half inches in size and female is about 1 and a half.

the males seems to chase the female around and be fairly aggressive towards her. i know these are fairly aggressive fish but is this normal or is it worth maybe getting another female to put in my tank.

kindest regards

It all depends- What size tank are they in? What is your decor and setup?

size of tank is 70g. the decor is slate caves. bogwood and large stones. my tank has plenty of cave and hiding places

Labs (Labidochromis caeruelus) are best kept in groups of 5 or more, m/f ratio doesn't really matter which is a good thing since the only way to accurately sex them is to vent or observe spawning. :good:
