Not quite sure what to do with her, but one of my Yellow Labs has been holding for 6 weeks now  !! We have just had a major cleanout of the tank and filter, so I dont want to strip her and stress her out any more :( . She is starting to look a bit thin now, and the babies look like they are trying to swim out, but she just keeps sucking them back again.

I suppose there really isnt anything I can do except wait, or strip her????

All I can suggest is make sure the tank has lots of plants or caves I hear sometimes they don't want to spit if mom doesn't feel safe. Otherwise I guess you just wait.

an easy thing to do is to put a floating container in there eg. ice cream container, then you can strip the babies into there.... then move them to the required tank if needed.... i used this method to strip my Electric Yellow the other day, it was an amazing experience!!! it is much easier than it seems... i used a tooth pick to open her mouth :) very easy... :good: good luck
