Yellow Lab Black/brown Patch?

I have a Yellow Lab that has recently developed a black/brown patch around its mouth and head region... He is still eating and hasn't changed his appearance in any other way. i was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what it could be?? thanks

Its a black eye, well the fish version anyway hes been fighting you should find another fish with the same marks.

The 2 fish lock mouths and try to push each other its a dominance thing not to serious though just keep an eye on them.

Whenever you have a problem/question regarding a fishes appearance the best way to get a diagnosis is to post some good photo's otherwise we all have different visions from your description.

it does look like that slightly, not as bad, but that is the way its looking... is this a problem?

adambrum, there are no other fish suffering with this, so i dont know if he maybe just come off 2nd best?

If he's the same then he isn't suffering as such he's just not a very good example of the breed that's all. Poor genetics.
