Yeah! I Finaly Got One!

i just purchased my new baby oscar. now before people go critizing and telling me how to care for him, how big a tank he needs etc. i will tell you i spent several weeks reserching and planing on my babes new home.

he is so tiny, just about 1/2". he still dosent really look like an oscar because he has just grey and black coloring but when he's older he'll be a looker!!

can anyone tell me how to post a pic and i'll post one as soon as i find out how.

i'm so excited!!!

Congratulations on your new Oscar! They are probably one of my favourite fish. I had a pair of Tiger Oscars a while ago, and they so interesting to watch. Even my dog loved to watch them swim round, she would sit there for hours on end. I used to fed mine on the Tetra doramin and they used to scoff that down within seconds

Any way, good luck with it, and i hope it all goes well for you.

right now he's in a 55 with three small jack dempseys and a rtbs but the rtbs is moving in a few days and the tank will be upgraded at christmas. the 150gal is on layaway and the stand is on its way to being built!!
