And they will stay there! If you tank set up is not to their wanting! But i know you have loads of hideing cave's and stuff. Give them time! Very shy fish untill they are settled.
At least your clowns are doing what they are supposed too........lol
I got three the other night and when I put them in they went right up to my tiger barbs and now they all run as a pack. Craziest thing I have ever seen in my life, and here I was worried about the barbs being harsh on the clowns and they have become best buds........go figure
Tiger Barbs and Clowns are a great mix to have in the tank. For some strange reason they bond together and act as one! Clowns like to see other fish swiming above them to feel safe. The colour pattern does have somthing to do with them feeling more of a Group.
When I got my first 2 clown loaches, one of them died within the first week, sadly. The other one schooled with the betta it was funny to see him swimming alongside Omelette like that, but Omelette honestly didn't care.
When I got another 2nd loach, the two of them schooled with Omelette, and the new one even took to nibbling on his tail. I've never seen a more mellow betta.
Now there are 4 loaches (because that 2nd new loach died and we were left with one, and they had them 3 for $25 at the store near us) and the 4 of them are really happy and healthy. They're so funny to watch...
