I have some cabomba caroliana which is doing well in my tank, can I use this as a yardstick as to which other plants will grow well for me ?

It's difficult really, I have always found that the said plant will grow anywhere under any light, with or without ferts or C02. I also know other that struggle with this plant. Different plants have slightly different needs, saying that plants are very adaptable and can cope with certain changes. It won't hurt to get some more plants and see what happens.

Thanks Ian,
I meant to add more information but I had a visitor and rushed it

I was thinking in terms of the light I have and the way I`m feeding (the fish provide the macros and I provide the micros and trace with Flourish)

Do you reckon it would be worth trying vallis, I know they are a root feeder but will they also absorb nutrients through foliage ?
