Just been to my LFS and they were sellign what they had labelled as Yamatoma Shrimp. Has anyone heard of these? Google search brings up nothing although it suggests they may be Yamato Shrimp which translate to Caridina japonica. http://www.thekrib.com/Fish/Shrimp/

Anyway they were £2 each, I did not buy any although I was tempted! :D

Yep - they are also know as Amano Shrimp but 'Cardinia Japonica'.

Ah excellent I thought so, is £2 an average price for them? What does everyone elses LFS charge?

£2 each sounds about right, see if you can get them say 5 for £9 or something like that, I have seen them 5 for £7.50 so haggling is worth a try.
