i was just wondering are there any aquatic plants that can be turned into xmas trees ??? hehehehehe u know it would look like an xmas tree under water and the fun thing about it is its a real plant not a plastic ornament dont give me those xmas moss answers ! haha

I had java moss growing really thick on a piece of driftwood that stands straight up, and is pyramid-shaped. It looked like a christmas tree and filled half my tank. I wish I had a pic of it before I redid my tank and gave most of the moss to friends. The whole reason I decided to switch was because it looked like I had a christmas tree centerpiece in my tank...

I know you said no xmas moss replies but...

I have a small log of bogwood that has a branch sticking staight upwards, I tied some xmas moss to it - low and behold it does somewhat look like a tree

I'ld like to, but I spend all my money on my critters and fish
so no camera

figure I should spend some money on the wife sometime soon too
after I get xmas presents for the four legged, finned, psuedopods, shrimp etc that make up the rest of the household

maybe I'll get here a digi cam
