Today we bought 2 female swordtails or so we thought! Got the things home and 1 male, 1 female! We asked pacifically for 2 females to equal out our ratio abit! nightmare! nevermind! And i have to say i have noticed that swordtails are horney little buggers!

I would have thought the gender difference between swordtails would have been pretty obvious with the males having swords on their tails and the females not having them ?

anyways, yep swordtails are livebearers, all they do is eat and breed!

Sounds like a typical lfs outcome to me.
Good luck with your dreeding machines, maybe you can sell the babies back to the lfs. Just a thought
