I have my 10 Gal. tank since 8 weeks. I have 2 platys, 4 neon tetras and 2 corys in it. I was wondering, why my corys grow so fast until I discovered last night, they are not corys, they are plecos, who can grow to over one foot long. Great! What do I do now? I have only a 10 Gal. tank and no space for a bigger one.......

I would suggest you take them back to the place you bought them from if possible. If not, either upgrade to a very large 6ft tank  or try re-homing some otherway, either by placing an add on here in the buy/sell section or maybe something like craigslist.

Or you could make a friend of yours really into fish all of a sudden and tell him to get a 55 gallon and he can have your fish, I have a 7 inch pleco in my 55 hes fine.

Want two more?
My friends are not really into fish. I also have 11 platys babies, that none of my friends want - and they are so cute! I will keep a few, but like I said - 10 Gal. and no space!
But the buy/sell side is a good idea, and probably the only option. I guess the store doesn't take them back - at least they don't want the platys babies.

If the store sold you the fish as cories, and they clearly are not, take them back, see the person who sold them to you and demand politely and firmly that they take them back as you were sold the fish under a false description. Although you really should have researched types of fish before buying anything, they also should be labelled correctly. There is a fair appearence difference between cories and Plecs so there is no reason for them to have been mislabeled if the people working there have any idea of what they are doing.

It would also help if you have or can find the reciept as proof of purchase.

They will definately let you trade them in for cories. Plecos are expensive, and if they are still young i'm sure you could probably get 3 cories per pleco.
