Wrigglers - Daddy Pale Green Marble Hm

So I spawned the Pale Green Marble HM with a Green HM I found in a Little LPS.
I used Old Faithful 3G Vase that has always spawned large broods in. Dunno why but Males love spawning in this. AS it is so Hot I have the Vase in the Window in the PC room and it is never cold, But I have never used a Heater when spawning, and never had probs with growth/survival rate.


Now this guy was strange. After spawning Loads of Eggs in the Nest. Next Day not that many, Next Day again could only see a few eggs.

Then yesterday Morning Tons of Fry zipping about, but no Bubble Nest. (I Use Bubblewrap as a nest Medium) So I was Wondering where he was keeping the eggs as I had not seen any.

The Only Plants in the Vase are Creeping Jenny, Azola and Java Moss from Weimster.

I wonder if he Let the Eggs fall into the Java Moss and then brought the Fry back up to the Surface. I think i have around 90-100 Fry ATM.

Going to Get some Live foods for them this morning before the Williams' Sisters Match Starts.
I have never used BBS, I have Always fed them on Daphnia/Mozzies and Crushed Hikari Micro Pellets. No Mozzies ATM as they go the Luecistic Danios Breeding Barrels.

Daddy is very good looking and i love greens but just can't find them anywere.

Yep I will be selling them once they are big enough and depending on what shapes and colors come. I have a few LFS Friends interested in them as this marbling is not seen very often. Studying Daddy More he is starting to show Either Rose/Feather tail traits, so should be an interesting mix of fry.


Just got back from visiting a few LFS/LPS and missed out on some Very Nice King Males and Females by a few days. They Would have been interesting to keep. He noted that they were The most Aggressive bettas he had seen in a while.

Thanks, This Evening he has herded them onto 1 side of the Vase and keeps bringing back any that stray. Added some Daphnia for him to eat, and also for the fry to eat when a little bigger.

They have been moved into a filtered tank and have been feeding ok.
Dad is still in with them for a while longer.

Yeah I am Expecting some nice colors from the spawn.

Checked on them just now and Can't see any Swimming around. Hopefully they have not all died Suddenly. If they have Oh Well, will try again.
