My clown has been in my tank for 9 months and hes been doing great, he adopted my frogspawn as a home or w/e they use it as, But the thing is, about 2months ago he had a white blemish on his side but the day after it was gone, it looked as if it was sunk into his scales but the weird thing is every few weeks it would appear in a new spot... I cant identify this and I cant get i picture because its now behind his fin, it almost seems to be moving. I have posted saying he ran into my urchin once and that healed but now every week or two he has a scratch or poke on him and he heals himself my question is what is this white mobile spot? and is it my frogspawn that is scratching him all the time? if so how can i change that, I dont really want to gamble with an anenome and by the way hes a true perc clown..

i just dont see it beign somthing threatening if hes been living 9 months and is still doing good

the dot doesnt get bigger than a few millimeters and well maybe 1 millimeter smaller is the least it has been. it changes all the time, here is what it kinda looks like

Could it be a loose scale? My clownfish lose them periodically by hitting LR, and the lighter coloured scale dies, falls off, and leaves the fishes normal colour once again. Or, another idea is a flatworm. This could explain its mobility, see if you cant get a closer look yourself. Flatworms should be on other fish by now aswell.

well maybe thats it because none of my other fishies have em there spottless and fine, thnx, is it bad for him to be scraping on his scales alot should i get another softer coral for him hopefully hed liek better im nto so sure hed just switch,,,
