WOW BARGAIN PLANTS.........free

yea this seems all good, but could it turn disasterous. I found some plants....think their Anacharis, as much information i've got about them, and they were in a creek with som 'guppies' as we call them, ( they look like a neon tetra but they a brownish greenish colour all over)

but any way i was wondering if this would be alright to use in a tank with my tropical fish. It's currently in a cycling mode so i hav one neon tetra in there but want to decorate more. If i put this wild stuff in im wondering if it will make the water kill my fish.
they hav the exact same stuf in the local fish shop ( for $3 a bunch) but i figured why pay money when i found it for free

although my fishes health is first so i decided to check with the experts wat to do.

the Anacharis is currently in a container with som cold fresh water 'guppies' decontaminating any thing it could have on it.

If any one could tell me about my 'guppies' then please do so.

Can you be absolutely sure that there are no toxins in the creek water? Where does the creek start? If it passes by any factories or public places I wouldnt use it. There coudl be very harmful stuff in the water from pollution and possible insecticides and other dangerous household chemicals that could leech in there.

yeah, be carefull cheap short cuts lead to expensive problems. make sure your sure about the water in there.
