Fish Herder
hi
noticed yesterday one of our yoyos has a wound on his 'cheek' just in front of his gills towards his nose theres a patch of rawness, looks like its been scraped. he also looks a bit stressed - is staying grey instead of usual black & cream. i put in some melafix yesterday & this am & it does look better but im just wondering what could have caused it.is it likely hes just scraped himself on the edge of a rock or something? our substrate is all smooth rounded small stones, or could it have been caused in a fight with the other yoyo. can they injure each other if they have scraps
we've never seen any other fish harrass the yoyos, the injured one was added about 3 months ago to replace one we lost & at first the pair of them were always scrapping but they settled down quickly & lately have been 'hanging' around together.
i know im just being overcautious but we dont want to lose this little fish.
