Would snails be a good pet to keep in a fish tank?I want to know because I think I might get some for the bettas. I want to know are they good with any fish like in a fish tank with most fish?

I have snails in my community tank. The only problem I've found is the BN Catfish cleaning them to death if they don't get back in their shells quick enough!

They are good pets. But are heavy waste producers and are breeders.

I've kept apple snails w/both bettas and community fish (rasboras, tetras, corys). And the bonus is they lay their eggs above the water line, and they're bright pink so easy to spot and get rid of. They come in several color and patterns, and have always been active in my tanks. They are somewhat heavy waste producers, but that's easily vacuumed up.
