Since im not very good at Commutity Tank fish And HAVE had Experiance With oscar's.

I WOULD say they are one of the easyest fish to keep! And messyest!

Why?

There EXTREAMLY hardy and eat near enough anything! Ok people dont buy them becuase they grow big and there messy and arnt very attractive.

Who cares about looks. Its all about personality.
Oscars are like a Dog But there alot smaller and live in a tank And dont bark over night.

They grow big and Cant live with other fish?
Not realy true... Some people keep theres with pleco's and such ( as i have done a few years ago before giving up on my fish hobby ) And over youtube i've seen people keep green terror's and other certian cichlids.

What i love the most about them not living with other fish is its less of a hassal! I mean seriously. Having a community tank means you have to keep checking up on the little icky neons witch dont do no tricks what so ever. And with oscar's they Love being known there there (best part in muy pointof few)
And as long as oyu treat them nice they'll be nice to you :)

I Know most of you o's fans know this lot already but i just got bored and decided to write up about my experiance with oscars.

by far they are one of the best fish.

my fav's have to be
Albino
Wilds

Yep in a large enough tank, they can be kept with other species, like severums, chocolate cichlids, some with GT's (more dependent on the GT than the Oscar), Plecs and other large catfish, oddballs, bala's, silver dollars, tinfoils, plus plenty more robust large fish. So long as you have good filtration and feed them properly, keep up large water changes, they are hardy, easy fish to care for.
