I know it's a STUPID question and I would answer no if I was reading it
Just wondering if it's even worth a try cos it means I can have more males lol

I personally wouldn't keep the male with a sorority...I plan on doing extended paternity with mine when I breed them, but at 3 months I am taking the females out and placing them with there mother. I remember reading somewhere, that at 3 1/2 months one of the females in an extended paternity tank got aggressive towards other females and even some of the males and started hanging around her dad (like aggressive to show it was her right to breed with him kinda thing).

i have seen it done mel, the male indeed can get totally wacked from chasing the females around all day long, there was about 20 females in there with him, he had built a small nest but ths didnt last long as the females eventualy killed him by attacking him not by exhuasting him out, the thing i did notice is that the females barred up like crazy but realluy not a good thing to do, just buy yourself another small tank if you want more boys

Okie dokie, there was me thinking I had placid enough males to go in there by not thinking how a gang of 14 hormonal bitches would rip him up lol, cheers :good:
