Would You Add More Fish If You Were Me?

Currently have whats listed below in my 300ltr and just wondered if you would add anything else to it or leave it as it is if you were me. I had a gold nugget L018 in there too till last week when he died.

5 Denisonii barbs
2 Cupid cichlids
2 Firemouths
4 Pictus catfish
1 Candy stripe Pleco L015
2 Butterfly Fish
2 Dwarf Gourami
1 Golden Panchax

Without right or wrong factors, I would certainly be up for myself adding more to that, maybe a nice shoal of tetras or somthing of simular size/nature.

Exactly what my first instinct was, except I did a little research on the Denison's barb, which can reach 6" in length! If it were my tank, I'd get more of them so I'm not introducing yet another species of fish in an already species-heavy tank.

Depending on the pictus, anything smaller than it might well get gulped down

I'd leave it.

I've made the mistake of adding too much (within reason) and the tank becomes too 'busy'. Stick with it for a while - if you find you get bored, then maybe have another think about additions.

vicious little blighters! Wouldn't keep them with anything except more robust and larger cichlids that an look after themselves.

.....but thee's plenty of other things in your tank that wont be fine. Your gourami for example.

give it time, once they're established or worse paired, you may be in trouble
