We recently lost a male ram from our main tank (20G with tetras and a Bristle Nose) and were after a replacement. We managed to track down a shop with some and bought one.
It's now sat in the quarantine tank, but there's a problem. I think he may be a she! There looks to be a slight pink colouration to the belly and flecks of blue in the black spot on the side. If this does turn out to be a female would it be OK in the main tank with our other female ram or is this asking for trouble?
