Im thinking of setting this up, filtration, heting, water stuff etc. isnt a problem, just wonding if this would work... If not could you tell me what would, i really want an oscar or 2. And in 2 years they would all be switched to a much bigger tank

I don't know about the parrot but the 2 oscars would require a 150 gallon or so. If you are prepaired to provide them with this pretty soon, you could keep 2 in a 55 for a little while - but it would be TEMPORARY. I should also put emphasis on the fact that I would not encourage you to do this. If you are truly prepaired to do what's best for the fish, get the oscars in 2 years when you have the right tank for them and get something else (you could get the parrot) for the 55. Otherwise, I'd get just one oscar and leave it at that (you'll still probably need a slightly bigger tank for it eventualy but aggression wouldn't be as serious with just one - therefor you have more time on your hands before having to up-grade).

2 Oscars are fine in a 100g tank if you want more fish then get a 125g because then you can add blood parrots but keep an eye on them because they tend to get toa gressive for the big oscars sometimes.

I have a 12 inch oscar in a 100 gallon. I wouldn't suggest two. Tank does not seem large enough in my opinion. 60"Lx18"Wx22"H

125 minimum gives you another foot in lenght. If I went this Rte I'd get a 150 (same foot print but higher).
