would a community tank of 1 dwarf puffer, 1 dwarf gourami, 5 neon tetras, and 3 cory catfish get along in a tank together???

Hi,

As far as I am aware, from research and questioning LFS's, puffers are a species tank fish only and should not be mixed with others.

They are apparently not particulary good at looking after themselves and tend to get bullied by all the other fish.

Was gutted when i found this out 'cos I thnk they are superb fish and would have liked a few of them myself but wouldn't take the risk of them suffering.

Yep, dwarf puffers are best kept in species tanks although several people have success with them in communities, i wouldn't recommend you try it. The others should be ok, what size tank though?
