Ok, I'm doing a fishless cycle on my 29 gallon, and I want to know if this will be overstocking

6 tiger barbs
3 corys
3/4 mollies
5 undecided tetras (ideas are welcome)

So would that be overstocking for a 29 gallon tank?

technically not but in reality it might

see, the barbs, mollies and tetras will most likely share the same portion of the tank (middle to top). not to mention the tiger barbs are quite active and they might stress out the tetras

i would either skip the barbs or tetras and get more cories instead (6 to 8 would be nice)

I definetely want the barbs, but I kinda want some variety in my tank. Are there any other fish that will occupy middle to bottom?

How about Dwarf Gouramis? are they bottom dwellers, and will the barbs go for their fins?

Umm, I was researching tiger barbs, and found this, that says they're middle to bottom dwellers.
