Would This Be Fair?!?!

Hi, ive got my VT in a 3UK G, so 9litres, so about 3.5-4US G...
im wondering weather i could put my VT in a 2G, and the new one can have the 3G...
i know people keep them in 1Gs or even 0.5Gs..., just wondering weather people think that he would have not as good quality of life, to the extent that it would be unfair...

I might do, if the he doesnt like the small one, then i can buy a bigger one if needs be, and put a female in there or try the other male in it, to see what he thinks of it...
