I have a 20g tropical tank, how do you think these fish would get along?
-3x male guppies, black in colour with silver head
-2x albino cory
-5x neon tetra
-2x female swordtail
-1x fighter fish male, Betta

I know the possibility of the guppies an the betta might not get along but the dark colours of the guppies may make them get along slightly better.
Apart from that do any experienced fish keepers see any problems with this combination?

Thanks

even though the guppies are dark i still wouldn't risk it. personally i would forget the betta and get another 4 cory instead as they need at least 6 to be happy

LILFISHIE is right - you cant keep guppies with a Betta - the Betta will think they are male Bettas and will tear strips out of them. Also yes the corys need to be a group of no less than 6 and so do the neons. If your tank is new avoid neons as they shouldnt be kept in a tank of less than at least 6 months old as they are very sensitive to water quality and dont fare well.

Okay I guess i will have to think of something different
Thanks for the good advice

how about

-5x male guppies,
-6x albino cory
-10x neon tetra
-3x dwarf/honey gourami

looking at the size of my female swords i wouldn't have them in a smaller tank than they are in and thats a 30Gal, Platies are a good alternative though :good:
