i'm going to get some moeny on friday  i'v decided with half of it i'll buy a light for either my guppy fry  (one lot 2 days old the other batch one month old) tank or weather to put it in my grown up guppy fry tank  (there half the size that guppies can get at full age).i'm not sure which to use it for :dunno: ??would it be better for the younge fry or the older fry actually u cant call them fry :S there not babies any more.please can someone help me make a desicion :D .thanx for any replies i'm sure they will help me.

What do you mean by "light"? They're in a dark room in a tank with no light? They're in a normal lighted room with no light in the tank? Fish don't particularly care if there's no light in a tank, but they do like a day/night cycle. Your fry will also colour up better with a light.

there in my room i'm getting them a new tank with a heater a pump and i was just wondering weather they would like a light too (would it effect there health or colour)

i meen a light to go in there tank

......it couldn't hurt, could it?? fry are just like any other fish...they should have heated water, a light cycle, good food, and clean water.......

i no it wouldnt hurt them but will it effect them if not i'll upgrade my medium tank by getting a them a heater with the money because i'm paying £15 for a light.Would i beable to get a heater for £15 or would i hav to get a bit more money.

according to the currency calculator i used, that is approximately 30 US dollars....heaters range from around 15-20 USD at the most for us here...leaving you a 10 spot for a new light (which you could probably swing somehow)
