Would Flourish Excel Work Okay With Riccia

I want some riccia on a slate in my 60L, but I don't want to add a CO2 setup, because its only small.
Would flourish excel be okay, would the riccia be able to pearl using this, or is there something else I could use to put CO2 in? I have 1wpg light
Should I try it, or forget it?

Riccia requires high lighting, you'd need at least 2wpg of light for it to pearl. It also requires CO2, but the excel would have helped there.

With just 1wpg personally i'd forget it if you are trying to get it to pearl.
