be ok in a 10-gal tank, with a few sparkling gouramis and a few cherry barbs? I have a baby (fm) that I really like, but I don't really want to overstock my tank. If I can keep her alone (meaning, without other guppies in the tank) will she be ok? If not, I can get 1 more fm to keep her company. I just don't want to heavily overstock it.
Thanks!

How many gouramis exactly? If you have 2 or 3, it should be fine. How many cherry barbs, too? I'd say 2-3 gouramis and 2-3 cherry barbs & a guppy would probably be okay. Just be sure to do enough water changes, or you may run into an ammonia problem.

Yeah, it's 3 cherry barbs, 4 sparkling gouramis. I'm not so worried about the overstocking with just 1 guppy, but I want to make sure she'll be ok without any more guppies. I've never really been a guppy-keeper, so I'm not sure. I know some fish are fine on their own, some aren't.
Thanks.

I've had many guppies, and for what I've seen, they are fine by themselves. They would prefer to have a male with them, but they won't die from loneliness.
