Personally i would advoid getting Torpedo Barbs as to make a shoal of them you'll need 5-6 but that in the longer term may be too much for the bioload of the tank with all the other fish in there. A 75gal is also the bare minimum for these fish in terms of space too- they're very active fish which can be skittish and so the bigger the tank the better.

Fish like Gourami's do much better in chilled out peaceful tanks- they're slow moving fish which are vulnerable to attack from other fish, and the environment that Gourami's do best in (v.planted tanks with warm temp and gentle current) is completely different to the habitat that Torpedo Barbs do best in (cool temp tanks with strong current and large spaces for active swimming & shoaling).

If you're getting a 6footer in a years time, i would personally strongly advise advoid getting any Torpedo Barbs until you've got that tank as they'll do much better in it. Personally i would keep fish like the neons, gourami, livebearers etc in the 75gal and concentrate on making it a chilled out peaceful planted community tank, and move the Common/Sailfin pleco to the new 6 footer with the danios & buy some Torpedo Barbs for it and focus on making it a strongly filtered robust active fish community tank .

When it comes to fish stocking there are a huge amount of factors to take into consideration and habitat is an important (ut sadly often forgotten) one of them. When fish are truly happy in their habitat with their tank mates etc, the fish will live longer, be much healthier (no fish diseases etc) and act more interestingly & naturally .

8 Bleeding Blue Tetras
10 Leopard Danios

I hate to play the "party pooper" once again, but presuming you are keeping the temperature around 24/25C, those Zebra Danios are going to live shorter lives through a higher metabolic rate. A few summer months at that temp would be fine, just like its warmer in geberal in the summer, but most of the year they should be at the lower end of their temp scale 18-20C.

Depending upon what species the plecs are, I'm not sure if adding another new species of fish is a good thing, as I would expect all levels of your tank to have action. If anything, I would double the number of Rhomb Barbs to make a stunning group swimming just off the tank floor.
