One of my pencil fish is looking very fat, the other fish i have in there are all looking ok. Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates ok aswell. The tank has been going the best part of a year. Im worried as i dont want my other fish to catch it. I have 3 L136's in there as well, which are my prized possesions. I have started a new 250ltr tank which i have 8 fish in there at the moment, i have 2 filter pads from my old tank in new filter also sand in some tights and a few rocks to help cycle the tank. Its been running for a week ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrate all ok daily water testing. Would it be to earley to put my L136's in the new tank. Also is there any thing i should be doing for the pencil fish.

Cheers smitt_graham

Are you sure you have Nitrates at 0?. Unless you're VERY lucky, all tapwater will have some Nitrates. Don't worry about the Pencilfish, btw, a couple of mine have got very large, too.
