Hey, so i've had my Betta for about 2 months now and he's very adorable.
Anyway, so i was watching him a bit today and noticed that some of the ends of his fins are losing color. They're almost transparent.
I keep him in a bowl with no filitation (i was told this wouldn't be bad) and with no lid (he doesn't jump).
Another concern i have is that there seem to be little particles floating around (i notice them mostly right after i change his water once a week)
I'm thinking this is fin rot, but i just am not sure. He appears to be healthy and active, and hasn't lost his appetite. Do the fins grow at all? could this be the reason?
Any help would be most appreciated!!!
