Hi everyone. I really need some help please! I currently have 3 tanks but since setting up my 55g ive been having trouble!

I havent given it a water change for 10 days because ive been really busy and all water parameters were great so i knew i could get away with leaving it.

Anyway tonight i noticed it was a bit dirty as its sand and i only have 4 cloud minnows and a baby cloud minnow and 2 assasin snails and some bladder snails.

I noticed one of the assasin snails was on what looked like some muck so i got my gravel cleaner and cleaned the sand into a white bowl so i could have a look.

Theres some weird things in the bowl now and im freaking out!! Some are like how do i explain this..... they are like tiny black slugs and i know they are not snails because they have no shell and there looks to be like tint wormy things. I have never seen anything like them before!!

Ive taken a couple of pictures but they arent that clear but i will put them on anyway. Has anyone got any ideas at all? Are they dangerous to the fish?? Thank you for your help

If you have a 55 gallon tank with 4 white cloud mountain minnows in it you could get by with a monthly 75% water change, so 10 days without a water change is not going to be an issue.

Generally worms in the substrate are harmless and nothing to worry about.
