Worms?

hi, my platies just gave birth, i was doing a water change and to make sure i didnt suck any of them up i put the light over the bucket only to find about 20 of these tiny little worms,under a centimetre long, very thin and white, most of them were at the surface, what could they be and how can i get rid of them?

never mind, i think they are planaria worms. mini crisis over.
