Has UK aquarium bred the world's rarest fish? | News | Practical Fishkeeping

If you ever get the chance of obtaining Allodontichthys polylepis   I would suggest keeping them in a large aquarium with plenty of hiding places. As this species mature with age they can get very aggressive towards each other and sometimes leading to deaths.

From that story, one could think that nature wanted that species to go extinct!

the pure irony that its a live bearer considerd the easiest fish to breed yet its the rarest fish in the world

if you or anyone else are interested in supporting the goodeid  family  please PM me  for a link.

They look vey similar to some fish that is in a little river like two hours away from my home. X_x

   1.       There are many livebearers  that look alike, the goodeid fish  only comes from Mexico
