I impulse ordered a bunch of female gertrudae rainbows last weekend 
. They arrived today, via priority shipping. I have too say I am very pleased, I bought them off a aquabid seller. I e-mailed him asking if I could buy just females, he agreed. So now I have my six new girls and a extra boy he set along as well. Females are very hard to get here, all it is males and more males. They also costed less than they would of locally, even with the shipping. I've got a total now of 6 females and 7 males. I'm going to be setting up a breeding group of 6 females and 3-4 males. The boys are going crazy. The girls are still shy and pale, but they have already eaten and are very active.

One of my males in a little plastic breeder. Unfortunately, he is one of the males that won't be in the breeding group do to his short fins. However this didn't stop him from trying to get the girls attention.
