well i have had him in a 10 forever and he has long outgrown it so i got this 29gal just for him. he has been swimming back and forth, doing flips, wiggling through the wall of bubbles. i have never seen him so excited. :) :) :)

the glass beads i had in the other tank wont be enough to fill the bottom of this one. i also had some hornwort with him but im going to get some sort of substrate before i put it back in.
i just wanted to get him in the tank as soon as i could :)

He is a Lovely Calico

And he will be very happy in his new home.

:) thanks. hes been deserving a roomier tank for a while. i think simpler tanks look a lot better anyways. i hate seeing pics of stuffed tanks all of the time. all i need is some substrate and a few more plants for him :)

hes smiling at me right now as i type this :D

i agree with the fotm

nice little fishie ;)

You should try some sand... ;)
actually i wanted sand but i wondered why you never see sand in goldfish tanks. i asked on a goldfish forum and found out that goldfish tend to swallow the sand and it comes out of their gills, which would be like constantly rubbing sandpaper down your throat. i think im going to go for some large river stones instead.
