Hi everyone,i went to a park the other day and starting picking out pieces and out of the 15 pieces i picked that lookd great in my tank, i soak them in boiling water for about an hour and then i droped them into my tank, wich made the tank look awesome,

After about 3 days the tank started to get cloudy, like a light brown color, though it was algae but i think it might be the wood since its the newest addition to my tank, any way to get rid of tinting without removing the wood??

Thanks for reading and input :D

It should eventually go, do know how long it will take though

ohh okay good, though it was gona be like that for a wail, thanks :D

Carbon in the filter will clear the water, but if your tank is planted then its better not to use carbon, it wont do the fish any harm though a lot of it can change the ph, so if you have sensitive fish big water changes would result in what might be a stressfull change in ph for the fish. If its bothering you lots of small water changes will help clear the water without changing ph much.
