A few weeks ago I bought a wood shrimp. For a while I'd look all over for him during the day and not see him, only to see him out at dusk. Well I found out where he hides. I have an eclipse system... he climbs up the little "chutes" where the filtered water comes out, and goes into the hood and stays in the bio-wheel compartment. Whenever he's in there I push him out, but he goes back in. He doesn't get stuck when he's in there, and he goes in there on purpose. I'm a little worried about him getting hurt or ending up on my floor... any ideas on how to keep him out of the filter system and in the tank?
By the way, the outtakes are above the waterline... he grabs in to the bottom and climbs out of the water to get in the "chute".
