I've noticed that walking past my tank, or people coming up the stairs outside my room, causes it to wobble slightly. it is not the stand which is uneven, it appears to be the floorboards.
does it need to be moved, is there anythign that can be done or will it be ok like this?

If you can move it to a more stable position then it is worth doing. That being said my tank does the same when I walk past it and I have kept different tanks in the same spot for years and none of them every broke or cracked. Guess it depends how much it is wobbling.

i know it would take more than a small wobble to do any damage, it just worries me slightly as the tank makes me nervous enough as it is now.
hmm, i will see if it can be moved.....

after having a look, i've decided that the only feasible location in the room where it currently is. i think the main reason for the wobbling is because the tank stand is on a sheet of 1" thick polystyrene to compensate for the lumpy unever floor, so hopefully this should be ok?
