Will This Work?

I am going to be getting a juwel lido 120 in the new year.
I will add another light tube to get 2wpg so i can make a good planted tank along with the addition of a nutrafin CO2 canister. There will be lots of wood and rocks to make it looks like a proper riverbed.

I will most probably add an external filter to this, can anyone reccommend a good external for this tank size? I will add my existing media to this to have an already cycled tank so i can stock practically straight away.

My stocking is as goes:
8/10 Cardinal Tetras
6 Rummynose tetras
2 german blue rams
2 angel fish (will add these when small and along with the tetras so they hopefuly wont eat them)
5/6 cories
and maybe one or 2 bn plecs.
Maybe an my albino rainbow shark, which, suprisingly is very un-aggressive.
As you can see, i am going to have/i would like an amazon biotope

With good filtration and aroughly 25% water changes weekly will this work out?
Is there anything else that i need to know?

External filters...Tetratec EX700 or Fluval 305 for that size. The fluvals are slightly noiser than the tetratec which is almost silent.
Sounds good, keep an eye on the shark when it gets bigger it might start eating the tetras.

I'm getting one for christmas and am going to run the internal and a fluval 104.

8.5*/h flow rate with them, perfect.
