Okay I have a good size pool one of the plastic ones but it's not one of the small kiddy pool it is a huge plastic pool.

well any ways I brought it up on the deck and cleaned it out and scrubed it down filled it up. might I add I have perfect water to start fish in. All the reading are fine.
The only air I have in there is 2 bubble rings that I had left over from my other tanks.

Now would it work and stay clean if I clean the bottom of the pool every week with a siphon and fill it back up just like I do my other tanks.

or will i just not be able to keep up with it cause the sun will bring alot of alge ;)

let me now what you think

i was gonna do this at one point.

you need a big pump to dilute the waste, and yes, algae is a problem in shallow pools. there are remedies for it though like algae eaters, chemicals etc

it CAN work. but you need to do research .

Floating plants will help reduce algae in ponds. The biggest problem you will have is the sunlight damaging the plastic. Most plastics are biodegradable and break down after a couple of years in the sun. One day the pool will be full of water, the next day it will have split and everything will be on the lawn.
