This is the first time that I have really gotten into Gouramis and I did research and want to breed them. I went and got what I hope are two females. I am fairly sure they are girls (but I have read conflicting ways of telling the differance). Here is a clip and a couple of pics of the two that are in my 55g. I have a smaller tank set up that I was going to breed them in since I have other fish and a filter in the 55g tank. One of the "females" is in the smaller one and I was going to drop it down to 6 inches after two weeks of feeding them blood worms (and brine shrimp if I can find them) and add the male with the one female but he has already built the bubble nest in the opposite end of the tank as the filter and they started "dancing" today. When he gets aggressive (in one of the pics) he darkens and spreads his tail and sometimes he treats the female this way and other times he doesn't. Should I discourage them by breaking up the bubble nest in the 55 and go ahead with putting him in the other tank with the girl or just let them be and see if I can put a net around them when the eggs are in or both?

the question has been answered for me I guess. They are doing there dance upsidedown and I just saw her shoot our a bunch or eggs. He is being such a good dad. He is gathering them up like he should and gaurding the nest. The poor Blue I have in the tank tried to come out and swim around and got ran off. He even ran mom off once but she went back and they danced some more. Not really sure what to do with her. I have a tank with a tadpole and gold fish I could put her in for a little bit but not too long. I also have the blue as I mentioned and a draggon (my pic) in the tank and I don't know if I can get them out without disturbing the nest. I wish I had something to put in there to devide off part of the tank. That would be the easiest. I welcome any suggestions.
