Will This Kind Fish Fade Their Color?

I saw ppl sell this kinda angel fish on ebay

i read it somewhere it said , these fish are not red, they are fed by special food, will fade color later.

is it true, anyone tried b4?

actually i am looking angelfish in my avatar. if u look carefully, u will notice the difference.

one is like normal koi angel but with alot orange pigment. but u can still see some white color, as they are normally not 100% orange.

but this ebay fish are all 100% pinkish, every single one of them.
 
prehaps i wouldnt trust buying them if they are being fed different types of food to bring out a different colour in them

have you spoken to the seller and asked if they have been fed food to dye them?
 
Fish will change their color based on breeding or their mood (stressed, territorial) but i've never heard of their color being influenced by a certain type of food, unless it is crappy food, not giving them the right nutrients...

oh i see, i wasnt thinking along those lines. more that a certain kind of regular store bought food would color a fish more than a similar store bought brand
