Fish Crazy
when will ppl learn how big clown loaches get?

Lots of people still perpetuate this one, especially if they're trying to sell you fish. It's partially true (many fish do stop growing in smaller tanks) but that's not a good thing at all. Fish stop growing because they become stunted for some reason, usually in the case of smaller tanks this is because of poor water quality. Poor water quality would be an issue even with larger fish, but stunting fish will also shorten their life span and damage their immune systems so you're looking at long term damage. The hormone thing is generally accepted as not true, don't think anyone has found any proof of it whatsoever. It's just an excuse to make it seem as though stunting is perfectly natural.
