Will The Moms Eat The Babies?

i have two pregnant guppies and one pregnant platy. i was going to isolate the platy from everyone and put the two guppies in isolation together from everybody too (put the platy and guppies in diffrent tanks) will they eat their babies if left in there for a little bit?

Yes they may do.

I rear most of my babies along side the adults and the fittest survives as rearing all of them would be a nightmare.
If you keep them well feed though then the odd's of them eating any is much less.
