I'm trying really hard to act normal
My little platy (about an inch or so long) looks like she about ready to split open. Today I noticed her anus (I think that's what it is...where is the "birthing canal"?) is really obvious. I thought maybe this might mean she might start dropping the babies soon, so I put her through the tramatic experience of being caught and put into a breeder. I wanted to wait as soon as possible because I believe she aborted her last batch because I moved her too soon, and she was stressed. I guess I'm asking, if she will abort, how soon would it happen? Is the sign of a rather obvious anus signal she might give birth soon? Thanks.
